10 Benefits to using Rosehip oil

While Coconut Oil remains an all time fave when it comes to moisturising, I can confidently say Rosehip Oil is a strong contender because it is such an all rounder and the health benefits are incredible. 

 

 

Rosehip is derived from the rosa canina rose bush, which is grown mostly in Chile.Unlike rose oil, which is extracted from rose petals, rosehip oil is pressed from the fruit and seeds of the rose plant. This amazing oil is loaded with skin-nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids. It also contains phenols that have been shown to have antiviral, antibacterial, and anti Fungal properties.

1.Makeup remover 

Just add a few drops of this Rosehip Oil onto a cotton pad and swipe outwards, to remove your makeup at night. It is better than cleansers as it works as a toners and contains no chemicals , which means it is kinder to your skin and will save your money by being a 2in1.


2. Source of moisture

Dry skin can be uncomfortable, so negate that by using Rosehip Oil as part of your daily and evening routine. Because it contains 80 percent fatty acids (omega 6 and omega 9), just adding a few drops of the oil to your skin once in the morning and once at night will help with a dehydrated, itchy complexion.
