How to apply makeup sos eyelashes

We have bought out our full on SOS eyelash range! Not everyone is a pro at putting them on 🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏿‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋‍♀️ It is possible to glue your eye together, so I have put together an easy guide to help. If you want this to be emailed to you then comment below!

Step #1 Measuring-up the lashes.

Rest the lash strip along your lash line to see whether you need to trim it to size. The strip should start where your natural bulk of eyelashes begin, if you start too close to the inner corner it will irritate your eyes.

Step #2 Trimming the lashes to size.

If you have to trim your lashes to fit, remember to do it from the outside edge and don't cut through the lashes, always cut them at the vein (the line that runs across and holds it all together). If you cut upwards you'll chop half of other lashes off you wanted to keep.

Step #3 Preventing false lash pop-up

If your lashes flatten when you take them out of the sos box and pop up at the inner or outer corners once applied, stop this in the name of love and roll the lashes around your finger, a makeup brush, pen or cotton bud and leave for a minute (be patient it’s worth it!!!!)This will help them remain more curved and in shape and everyone loves curves!

Step #4 Applying the glue correctly

Dab a thin layer of glue (straight from the adhesive applicator) along the vein of the lash, from corner to corner. Wave around then wait a few seconds for the glue to go tacky before application. Whilst waiting add 1 coat of mascara to your own lashes Which will help when bonding in step #6.

Step #5 Where oh where to apply the lashes

Place your sos lashes  where your natural bulk of eyelashes begin, look down and press the strip lash against your lash line in the centre, the outer edge and inner corner.

Step #6 Bonding the lashes

Having mascara to start with (step #4 - see we told you !) will help you to  pinch and push your natural lashes and the false lashes together so they set well. Squeeze the strip lash down onto the natural lashes so you don't end up with a strip of skin between your lashes and the false lashes. Carefully use eyelash tweezers or simply your fingertips.

Step #7 Uplift

If you want to create more uplift with your lashes, finish by gently pushing against the lashes at the edge of the inner lash line. Once fully dry use eyelash curlers to complete the look.
