Why is face rolling good for you?

Face rolling stimulates blood flow and encourages smoother skin.  I have had the odd tension headaches  and always found a head massage, using my finger tips was a real pain relief. However I found the temperature of my fingers never really helped. I always looked for something I could use, to keep the temperature right, so was thankful the Face Roller temperature can be controlled by dipping in hot water or cooled In the fridge thus managing your temperature for you. I  have also used it over a hot mask and the results were incredible. I felt rested afterwards and it made my skin really super smooth.

I found the cool version of the roller was nice but more beneficial in hotter climates, for example if you’ve come in from a hot day, it was a fab cooling aid, whereas the rolling when it’s warm and cold outside felt far more relaxing and released the tension almost instantly.
I also found, there was a difference with my pores with the roller warmer which we’re less clogged and opened up instantly, so after a few times I cleansed my face right after. This helped to clear up my skin.

The board works in the same way however I found that on my back because it’s flat I was able to drag and move it in crooks for a lower back massage. Read the SOS blog on the Gua sha, coming this week.  The roller also works on the back and I found it was better from the top and my shoulders working down. So invest in this gorgeous product for smooth skin and a relaxing evening.

How to use a face roller

1. Always do face rolling upwards and in one direction – never roll up and down.

2. Repeat up to five upward rolls in each area. First, roll outwards under the jawline.

3. Next, use the face roller to roll out, towards your hairline, under the cheekbones and then along them.

4. Lastly, roll flat along the brows, and then upwards on the forehead.

5. Work more slowly over the neck and jawline, but be brisk to firm over and under the cheeks.

 Relax and enjoy!
